CHALLENGE

HOW MIGHT I create a visual symbol to increase the sense of community and belonging among UROP transfer students as newcomers to campus.

SOLUTION

I created a logo that evokes agency, unity, and embodied the varying types of transference the students experience.

My logo design turned into an opportunity to work for UROP and help generate various marketing materials, to include the Changing Gears Program.

Creating this brochure assisted in communication which contributed to:

Community college campus visits.
Informational mailer to incoming transfer students.
Increased applicant interest in the research program.
